Who Would You Invite To A Dinner Party?

A friend of mine asked me a random question yesterday. She said, "If you could invite 15 people, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would you invite?"

I thought of a few right off the bat, but then the last 5 or so took some good thought. She already had her list written out on paper, which gave me a few ideas.

So, although it will likely change, my first list is here, in alphabetical order. Now I pass the question to anyone interested in sharing: Who would you invite?

Bono
My brother
Ray Charles
Thomas Edison
Albert Einstein
Mahatma Gandhi
Thomas Jefferson
Jesus of Nazareth
Martin Luther King, Jr.
John Lennon
Mark Twain
Will Smith
Brian Williams
Orville Wright
Wilbur Wright

Bono for sure
Alexander the Great
If they're allowed to be fictional, Spider-man
My mom
My dad
My brother
Brett Gurewitz (founder of Epitaph Records)
Joseph Heller
Jesus
Seth Green
Matt Thiessen
Matt Hoopes
Mykola Bilokonsky
Girard Butler
Barbara Kingsolver

I don't know how well Jesus and Seth Green would mix together, but it would be interesting to see the group dynamic at that party. Can it be a slightly more fun party, like can I have it at Chuck E. Cheese's?

I say it's your party, and you can host it in whatever venue you choose. :)
